Legal Question in Business Law in Pennsylvania

If you sign a modeling agency contract. You are the model. Do you have a grace period to renege or cancel the contract before it becomes binding. I know someone who signed such a contract a day ago. Now they want to cancel it. What would be the best way to ensure that the cancellation is held up in a court of law.

The answer depends upon what the contract says. Often there are non-compete clauses that prohibit working for a competitor for a certain period of time and a certain geographical area upon termination. there could also be other monetary penalties. I would need to review the contract to analyze the situation. Feel free to contact me.
