In the state of Pennsylvania is it legal to use a webcam/video camera to record video and audio in a waiting room of your own business? Do the patrons need to know they are being recorded? Thank you!

It is absolutely illegal and it is a violation of the Pennsylvania Crimes Code to video or record anyone in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania without their consent, regardless of where the videotaping or recording is being done and you could be criminally prosecuted by the District Attorney even for merely attempting to videotape or record anyone without their knowledge or consent, regardless of the location where this would be done,
