lien against checking account

Can credit card co put lein against bank account,taking 100% of money in account and freezing account so it cannot be accessed by account holder ? This includes any monies already in account and any monies to be direct deposited on behalf of account holder.

If they sue you, and win, and you do not file an appeal, they can obtain a final judgment. At that point they could garnish your bank account, but not before.
