Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Pennsylvania

harassment from collectors

I have repeatedly told a collections agency to qit calling me and send a letter telling me where to send $50 a month payments on a $480 dollar bill.they refuse the $50 a month plan. they have continued calling me 3 times a day demanding i give them a check or credit card number over the phone. Is there a limit to how much i send each month? And how can i get them to stop harassing me?

Re: harassment from collectors

First of all I have a letter you can send creditors. Check out this address:

over the phone. The creditor is not under any obligation to take small payments from

you, and conversely, there is no minimum payment you need make unless otherwise agreed.
