Legal Question in Criminal Law in Pennsylvania

If I was arrested and given a ticket for criminal mischief when in actuality I stole a flag off of a flagpole, can they still charge me with it? If I took this to court and admitted to stealing the flag off the flag pole but leaving it at the scene where it happened, can they charge me with that on the spot?

If you left it there you didn't steal it by definition. If you plead guilty to the criminal mischief then they cannot charge you with anything else regarding this in the future.
