Legal Question in Criminal Law in Pennsylvania

my fiance was arrested in court last week for something he did not do. he went to court to support his mother and when the judge sent everybody that was not a witness into the hallway the other party whom my fiance is related to said something to him. My fiance said to the other party "no disrespect but i have nothing to say to" because they was testifying aganist his mom. When my fiance sister tried to get the cops nobody came but when the other party started to yell thats when the cops came the female cop grab up my fiance and pushed his head into the head which left a mark they locked him up and charge him with witness intimedation and posted his bail at 50,000 dollars the judge never sent a cop out with them in the begining before this event took place and the cop said she didnt have to hear my fiance say anything to charge him i dont know what to do and we're expecting our first child in 3 months we have to pay 5,010 to get him out but i have nobody to help me my fiance is innocent all he said was he didnt have nothing to say how is that intimedation this happen in philadelphia pa. in the 18 district

I believe your question is how you should proceed with this case. He will have to have a preliminary hearing, at which time any evidence against him will be presented in an effort by the police to establish a 'prima facie' case against him to see if the charges will be held for court.

You need to have an attorney at that hearing. If what you say is true, then the charge should be resolved at that time.
