Legal Question in Criminal Law in Pennsylvania

My sister was given a money order from her friend for about $1900. She went to a check cashing place and cashed it. Today we recieved a phone call from florida this person found our address and phone number on line and accused my mother when it was my sister that did this. The guy that called our home accused us of taking his money and we have no clue only that my sister was helping a friend and now it looks as though it was a check cashing scam.. What do we do?
