Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania

I have a custody order in affect, a few concerns have came to my attention, i have called ocy and went to file a new custody order but the appointment is 4 weeks away. What exactlly is motion court and do I need a lawyer for that? Also what paper work do i fill out if i wanted something to be taken care of before the custody appointment.

I would highly suggest that you retain a lawyer for this. Motions court is where motions are heard. It sounds like you would write a petition for special relief, although you don't have to have a lawyer write and present this, you would certainly be better off by having one take care of this for you. The rules on how to handle this vary widely by county, so if you are going to do this on your own, you will want to be sure to review your local county rules of civil procedure in addition to the PA rules of civil procedure.
