Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania

I was granted an ifp to wave the fees for both the divorce and the custody fee at the court house my question is since i was granted the ifp is there any lawyers that would take that into consideration in helping me or is there a way to go into the court house and get an ifp for a lawyer since im a single mom and unemployed and need help with a custody issue thats going on.

Actually you can't get an IFP for a lawyer. What you need to do is contact the lawyer referral service. It's the phone number on the Notice to Defend you filed. They will screen you and see if the local legal service can take your case or if there is a Pro Bono lawyer available.

Just asking a lawyer directly isn't going to work. That said the rules say we should take pro bono cases but most lawyers want that they took the case pro bono on the record with the bar.
