minor responsibility in accident

I would like to know if a minor takes an atv off his/her property and another minor rides this atv without parental permission and there is an accident is the minor who was involved in the accident or his/her parents responsible for damages to the atv?

It depends. Can't give an answer without the facts. Generally parents are responsible for the actions of their children, but in many cases children may be too young to understand the damages of their actions.

I've seen the situation before. No, wait, I was in the exact situation when I was 15. The best result is to get to a mutually acceptable resolution for the situation. IN MY OPINION, the child who loaned the vehicle is as culpable or even more so than the child who crashed.
