Legal Question in Employment Law in Pennsylvania

Good Afternoon,

I am not sure if I should pursue a lawsuit or not. I was terminated because my boss now thinks "married people should not work together", my finance is a driver for a company while I was office staff. I also experienced different treatment as the boss was in a relationship with the intern and she would get special treatment on projects as well as lunches and flexible hours. I would really like to know if a lawsuit should be filed because I am unable to collect unemployment and our family is losing our apartment. Thank You

The facts as related are insufficient to give an opinion whether you may or may not have a claim for employment discrimination. I suggest you talk to an attorney to discuss this more in depth. If you have a claim you must file a claim within specific time periods with the Pennsylvania Human Relations Commision orthe EEO. If you would like to schedule an appoint with my office feel free to call.
