Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in Pennsylvania

Fungal infection after PRK surgery, can I sue?

I had laser PRK surgery done 3 months ago and still have a fungal infection in one eye, causing blurred vision and the need for constant drops. The Dr. says it's plateaued and hasn't changed. Should I go to a corneal specialist or attorney or both? There was nothing on the forms I filled out about fungal infections, just bacterial infections, I didn't even KNOW you could get a fungus in your EYE!!! So two questions: one, can I sue because of the infection, and two would I only be able to sue if I have permanent scarring due to the infection? Thanks in advance!!!

Were you a contact lens wearer? Were you using ReNu with Moistureloc?
