Legal Question in Personal Injury in Pennsylvania

hurt at work

I was hurt at work when the latter i was on kick out at the bottom and then i came down with it. I ended up waiting on the freezeing ground for a hour and a half for the ambluance got to me then i was airlifted the the trama unit with a broken tib and fib in my right leg and my back is very sore i was about 28ft up when this happened and im getting wc but i waanted to know about maybe sue the homeowner for pain and suffering the wc just does not make up for it and i was in the hosp for 4 days thanks for your time i live in pa

You would have to prove negligence on the part of the homeowner to recover against him or her. You do not describe anything that the homeowner did wrong.

Worker's commpensation is different. If you are covered by worker's compensation, you only have to prove injury on the job, not that it was anyone's fault. The trade-off for not having to prove fault, however, is that worker's compensation covers only medical bills and lost wages, not pain and suffering.

Sounds like a horrible accident and that you have pretty serious injuries.

Depending on how the ladder kicked out, you may be able to sue the maker of the ladder as well.
