Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Pennsylvania

forced sale

If I am a joint owner of a piece of property and I solely pay all the up kep and taxes can the other co=owner force me to sell the property or by him out. The co-owner want nothing to do with the upkeep except for tax purposes which I pay in full

In the absence of a written agreement the co owner can force you to buy him out. However, he should reimburse you one half of the expenses. I suggest you seek the advice of legal counsel.
