right of way

If my neighbor owns a piece of ground and lives on it, 43 acres. Must I give them a right of way to the back portion of the ground?

The simple answer is no...in legal terms this is considered an Easement. There are several types of easement that exist, the questions you need to ask are: Do you want to sell them a piece of your land, do you want to sell them a right of way, do they have a right of way already, do they have any access to there property already, did they acquire the property in the knowledge that no right of way existed.....answer those questions and then give me a call and I'll give you a more detailed explanation.
