Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Pennsylvania

Real estate question:

I bought a house with a co-signer. She paid $6000 at settlement, but I have paid the mortgage since. She has never occupied the house. She agreed to co-sign because I was engaged to a member of her family, but we have since separated. The co-signer would like to sell the house. Can I refuse? How do I go about taking over the deed to the house?

Are bothe of You on the deed? If so unless you have some agreement between the two of you in writing either of you can bring an action to partition or sell the property unless you come to some agreement. I would advise you consult with an attorney as this is just a general response and may or may not apply to your situation.
