Do I have a right to sue this man

Close a Real Estate transaction seller agreed to pay any sewage or water bill(in writing) that have not been paid seller did not pay them buyer is harrasing myself and the agency he told my manager that I told him at closing I would take care of them i did not say this he has tarnished my reputation that did not have a blemish and has brought me to such emotional stress i am quiting the business because he has made it impossible for me to work only because I am feeling so paranoid with the other agents I feel that i am not in good standing with them anymore

Generally, freedom of speech is an individual's most sacred right. However, there are limits. You cannot yell fire in a crowded theatre and you cannot lie about someone if that lie will cause them monetary damage. Such a lie could constitute defamation. A suit based upon that must be filed within one year of the lie, so you must act promptly.

There is also another possible cause of action for intentional or negligent infliction of emotional distress. To prevail, the conduct must be outrageous and your suffering must be severe.

Based upon the information you provided, I do not know that it is wise to pursue either action. Regarding the first one, you must prove that he harmed you. If you were fired from your job or you lost sales, that would suffice. As I understand it, you subjectively are not happy.
