want to find out what was in a will left from my mother

Your facts dot indicate whether your mother passed away. Assuming she did, she named an executor. if you know who that is you should ontact him or her for details. If you are named in the will they are obligated to notify you. If the will has been filed for probate you can see the contents by contacting the local probate court where it was filed. If your mother died and nothing has been filed you can open an estate or compel the filing of an estate if you know who has the will.
