On Separation Issues

My wife and I are separated for 4 years, and I am with someone now. My wife is told me that she is going abroad, and does not want to communicate with me anymore.

My partner and I will be having a baby soon. Will it be safe for us to have my child registered under my name after birth? Please advice what will be the best thing to do with my soon to be born baby.

Dear Sir,

Since you are the father of the child and you admit paternity over such child, you could have the baby carry your surname. You may want to consider securing an annulment, marrying your partner, and eventually adopting your love child. I may be reached at [email protected].
