Re: marrage

If your co-worker is married, then she cannot remarry until her marriage is either ended by divorce or annulment. If she were to remarry before those things happen, she would be committing bigamy, which is a felony in SC.

These are complex issues, and it is important that they be handled correctly. Therefore, it is important that you consult an experienced family law attorney to find out what options are available to you based on the facts of your particular case.

If you need more information, you can visit my family law blog (www.SCFamilyLaw.com) or our website (www.StevensFirm.com). I wish you the best of luck.

Re: marrage

Whoa! The co-worker is either married or she isn't, it can't be both. Assuming she got married, then an annulment could take if the marriage was never consumated and/or they never lived together. Why marry?

She will have to find him to serve him with papers.

She will need a lawyer to assist.
