How do I submit and idea to a company or how would I get permission to use a cartoon charater for my product.

If it is a large company, I suggest you see their website which could possibly have instructions for idea submission and/or character licensing. If no info there, try giving them a call. If no help there, or if you are unsure what to do or how to protect your interests, you should retain an attorney to handle the specific situation for you. Good luck.
