Choosing an Attorney
With so many attorneys that claim to have military experience, what are some of the best factors to cosider when hiring an attorney for representation in a court martial?

Many attorneys have "military" experience, but that does not mean that they have experience DEFENDING complex (or even not so complex) military cases. Just because one was a military prosecutor, or military judge, does NOT give you the experience and knowledge to defend someone accused under the UCMJ.

I wrote that section a couple of years ago so that people could make intelligent decisions about retaining QUALIFIED civilian attorneys - not someone who just claims to be.
