how long does bankruptcy stay on fill

i filed for bankruptcy in 1992 how long does this stay on my credit report?

Since you filed in 1992 then the law for that year applies. The bankruptcy will remain on your credit for 7 years. If filed today, it would remain on your credit for 10 years.
