Libel or Not

Said person filed a law suit against said company. In the complaint filed in the court clerks office said person names an employee of said company and makes several false statements concerning said employee. Is said person libel for the false statements made in the complaint about said employee.

If a person makes provably untrue statements about another and causes that other economic harm, the law provides the remedy of slander [spoken words] or libel [written].
