open medical -reinjury
iaccepted a settlement on my shoulder with open medical one year ago. my shoulder is now hurting worse than before surgery. i went back to doctor that did the surgery. he has checked everything except my shoulder. after 2 months of going back and forth to him he has reffered me to a pain tolerence specialist. i have requested a second opinion on my shoulder. it was denied. also it has not been decided if this is a new injury or same injury.what do i do from here?

Re-injury or New Injury; It is always advisable to have an attorney review the case with you. You didn't indicate if you are still with the same employer, or what the original injury was to the shoulder. First, try to comply with the doctors orders. Continued problems with shoulder will generally warrant a more through exam. If benefits are denied you have several options to compel the benefits.
