Are internet based food selling general partnerships allowed to sell in all US s

We are forming a general partnership where we will be selling packaged food products via an internet based solicitation process. The manufacture will take place in california. Can I file an assumed name in tarrant county texas and still manufacture and sell from california?

The place of business designates where you need to file your assumed name. The manufacture may be in California, and you're drop-shipping from that facility, but you're buying and selling out of Tarrant County, Texas.

I'd also suggest you get your name registered with the Office of Patent & Trademark so you're covered for the U.S. Look in the phone book under "patents" rather than under "attorneys" for a trademark lawyer.

I concur with Mr. Bradie's comments. Further, I am a trademark specialist. Please let me know if you wish to consider a trademark search to determine the availability of your mark for use and registration, or to know about the registration process and/or benefits.
