Legal Question in Consumer Law in Texas
Car purchase
I bought a car which was promoted as making 30-40 mpg but I am finding out it makes 20-22 mpg. It also is showing a check engine light and I have only had it ten days. I'm wanting my old car back, because it got 20 mpg and was much larger. How long do I have to back out of the contract and get my old car back?

You don't. When you signed the contract it became a done deal.
You may have a cause of action for damages based upon their promoting superior gas mileage. Talk with an attorney about it.
