Legal Question in Consumer Law in Texas

non-deployment of airbags

I was just wondering if you could tell me what the chances of a person winning a lawsuit against Ford for non-deployment of the airbag....

To quote the cop that worked the wreck she was driving 'like a bat out of hell' and ran off of the road and lost it. The truck rolled, not sure how many time or anything, but the truck was totaled. She was not injured except for the seat belt burned her neck.

Re: non-deployment of airbags

Slim to none, based upon what you've said. No injury except for the seat-belt 'burn' so the failure to deploy didn't lead to anything.

A lawsuit requires a duty, a breach of that duty, and damages because of that breach. You don't have damages, aand there's a fair possibility that the airbag isn't set to deploy in the event of a rollover.
