if I have 2 cars reposed, can a lean be placed on my home?

No.

However, the lender CAN sue you, and IF he gets a judgment, he CAN record an abstract of judgment that will show up when somebody does a title search in connection with you selling your home.

Texas law says that an ordinary judgment lien does NOT attach to homestead.
