Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Texas

I am in an agreement right now, the payments are hard to make and I will not be doing the same job or have the finances in about six months. The terms of the agreement were that if I defaulted an agreed judgment would be entered into the court on myself for the remaining balance. What would they be able to do to me? Our checking accounts are in my husbands name with me as a signer. At my new job will it cause problems like garnishments? What can I really expect? This is from a bad business partnership that was dissolved. ADVISE??

creditors with a judgment cannot garnish bank accounts which are not in your name only..and they cannot garnish wages..in TEXAS...they can only reach exempt property..I recommend getting a lawyer ..to negotiate now and stop payments on the agreement...
