Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Texas

My ex husband is permanently disabled and in a veterans nursing home in Texas. He receives a military pension that goes to his bank monthly. He was living in a mobile home which has a balance due of $130,000.00. He will never leave the nursing home. He is 77 yrs. old. He has been told Benefits from tricare and SS could run out for nursing home care. At that time he would be charged $1800.00 a month for continued care. Can he stop pmts. now on mobil home?

Yes..and they may seek a judgment..but depending on the value of the home and property...if money is recovered from the sale over the debt..good luck..I presume no one is living in the home..so why pay if no money???
