Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas

Back in 2005, I was working for a Convenience store which had a slot game machine. Actually, i was on vacation for that week and my replacement employee did some wrong work and police issued the arrest warning for the store owner, him and me for organized crime. I was very surprised, and turned my self in. Court convicted him and the owner and fined them. But, they never file any case against me till today. I talked to detective back then, he told me they will not do anything against me. I still wonder why they issued a arrest warning against me. Now this thing is hurting me so badly. I just graduated from collage, looking for job. It is in my record and holding me back. Now, what should i do to take this thing off my record? Every where i go, i give/fill this explanation but don't have proof to valid it. Can they provide me some kind of letter stating i am not guilty/convicted/never charged?

When i came to know that arrest warning has been issued to me, very next day i went to police station. they told me it has to be 24 hours to be effective. So i waited next day and turned myself in and bailed out(in 2005). That's all, I was charged for 3 count of felony: operating, keeping and illegal transaction(giving cash back to winner, only store credit was legal). I was just a employee(assist. manager) and i wasn't even there when that incident happened. I was in a vacation. i don't even know it is still pending or dismissed? I was never given a court date, never filed anything against me till today. I still wonder why they charged me for those felony and issued arrest warning on me. The charges against me were the same as to them owner/manager and the other employee(who committed the crime). Court fined them and gave them probation. When i got myself out, i talked to the detective and he told me they will not bring any charges against me.

Thanking you,

If you were never convicted of any offense, you should consult with a lawyer about getting your record expunged. An expunction would destroy the record and prevent people from knowing about it.
