Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas

If a criminal records site has a person listed with with 5 separate offenses, but only 3 different case numbers, does that mean there were three different times in which the person was arrested? The charge is the same for all cases.

not necessarily. Someone could be arrested once and have 3 different charges. For example, someone could get searched and they find marijuana, cocaine, and an illegal weapon. The person would get arrested once but have three different charges with three different case numbers.

It could also mean just one charge that was dismissed and refiled. That would show up as a different charge but doesn't really mean there was more than one offense. You should really look for convictions or dispositions to cases, not just the charges themselves.
