Abandoment charges
My husband left me and our two children and took all our money and we are now being evicted. Is there some way to file abandonment charges on him? What can I do? I am now on foodstamps and currently looking for a job, but we face having to live in a shelter because of his action.

They should be able to help you. If not, contact Catholic Charities, who often have attorneys who will assist for little or no money down. You should also contact the Attorney General's office, who will file for child support for you. TCL
