Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

I divorced my husband when my kids were small around 20 years ago. i had a case for child support with the attorney general and of course he paid like 2 years on off and on and that was it. he hopped from state to state in order to avoid paying. which mind you my 2 sons are not his only children. i want to collect on back child support but the att. general said i would have to get a private lawyer. he lives in wyoming now that i know of. i though about hiring a private investigator to find out where he lives and works and then seeking help from a lawyer. what should i do? thanks

You need to hire a lawyer in the jurisdiction where the court order is pending, and file a petition for contempt. Depending upon the prior proceedings, you may have some time restrictions, so do not delay any further.
