my fiance wants to adopt my son the only problem is that my son's father is on child suppport but rarely pays what can we do

A fiance cannot adopt.
You need to talk to an experienced family law attorney in your county that knows a lot about termination and step-parent adoption. Terminating a parent's rights is difficult if the parent won't voluntarily do it.
