Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

My husband has not complied with the terms of our divorce decree. The divorce was fairly simple. I was request the title to our van and some DVDs we had collected through the years. The only thing I really want is the title to the van, which is 10 years old. I have received neither and I would like to sell the van under the Cash for Clunkers opportunity coming up. The DVDs are not not that important.

Thank you for your help.

If a divorce decree requires the delivery of property, that part of the decree is enforceable by contempt. My guess is that he would respond to a motion for contempt.

Here's what I'd do: Draft the motion and mail it to him with a letter that says, "I am going to file this motion at 8:00 am on if you have not complied with the decree before then."
