Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

My husband and I split up a week ago after I found drug paraphernalia in his truck, which I financed for him. I have kept the truck, due to the fact I do not want him to get pulled over with more drugs & possibly lose a truck I am responsible for. I do not WANT the truck. I just don't want to risk something happening to it while in his care. I have asked him to get the truck out of my name but he cannot due to student loans that he owes. I know it's considered "Community Property" but are there any grounds I have to stand on??

You can sell the truck and pay off the loan.

If you have filed for divorce, make sure there is no standing order that prevents you from selling the truck. If no one has filed for divorce, just sell it.
