Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

How do i reopen a child support case that's closed due to the child now being over 18.The Dad sends a measly $2.00 a month but owes me over $30,000.I know he has more money then that.He is now married can his wife be responsible too?He obviously learn how to play the game and stay out of default.But another is he still not eligible to own a home,obtain a driver's licence?This order is in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. I currently live in Plano,tx..Please help me what are my options.Thank you in advance Blessings!

Depending on the age of the child, you should file a motion to confirm the arrearage and set up a payment plan. Also, the IV-D agency (AG in TX) will notify the IRS of the arrearage and the IRS will seize his tax refunds each year. If he and his new wife file jointly, you'll get her tax return too.

If you can get the arrearage reduced to a money judgment, you can go after bank accounts that have his name on them.

Other than that, his new wife cannot be held directly responsible for his child support debt.
