My lease is up and my spouse and I are separating I should be able to leave if as a roommate he signs me off the lease. but the lady at the apartment complex is saying i have to give 30 day notice but i know if he writes me off then i don't have to i should be able to leave. I didn't have a 30 day notice that my relationship is ending!

Read your lease. It probably requires a 30 day notice, even in a reletting situation. Although you didn't have 30 days notice, it doesn't diminish your obligation to the landlord. Give the notice, and you will owe one more month rent, if that is the lease provision. You are actually fortunate that they are in agreement with the relet, as you could be held liable under the entire term of the lease.
