What is the limitation for suing someone after an auto accident for damages or injury?

An adult 18 years or older has two years from the date of the accident to either settle their claim or file suit. A minor under 18 has until their 20th birthday.

Generally it is 2 years. There are some exceptions, however. If you have a claim, you should talk to an attorney in more detail.
