Legal Question in Personal Injury in Texas

Auto Accident

If someone stops at a green light in the middle of an intersetion and another hits them from the rear, who's fault is the accident? If the person who hit the other car from the rear was the only one injuried can that person take any legal action against the person who stop at a green light? If so what kind of action can they take?

Re: Auto Accident

It depends on the circumstances. If the person was allowed to make a left turn and waiting for traffic to clear, then hitting him from behind does not appear justified. If he did not have a legal reason for stopping, then he can be found at least partially at fault. This sounds complex enough that you should consider hiring an attorney. Let me know if I can help.
