Legal Question in Personal Injury in Texas

Fall at local Grocery store

I recently fell at a local grocery store on some grease that was on the floor (i am a customer) and was taken by ems to the local hospital. I suffered injuries to my head, back and upper pelvis as well as my neck. After this i had to take some time off from work and school and had to have someone come and watch my children because i was unable to. What are my rights and what can I do?

Continue to get medical treatment. I recommend that you speak with an attorney as soon as possible as to your rights. Don't give a recorded statement to the Insurance company until you do. Find out if there were any witnesses and get their names and telephone numbers.

If the store is at fault, then they should pay for your medical care, lost wages, etc. However, slip and fall cases are sometimes difficult. Please call for more information at 800 541 4641.

I concur with Mr. Manus. These cases are difficult. However, if the store is at fault, you should be able to recover. Do continue your treatment, document your time from work, and speak with an attorney.
