Legal Question in Personal Injury in Texas

If I hire somebody to put up christmas house lights, what is my liability if they were to get injured during the job or while on my property. We have steep roofs/ledges. Thanks.

The person who does a dangerous job at your home (generally) assumes the risk. The difference would be if there are hidden defects that you know about that you didn't tell him about - a live electrical wire, a concealed hole in the ground, a large wasp's nest, etc.
