Abstract of judgement/lien

If an abstract of judgement has been filed does it automatically attach itself as a lien to personal property? Will the judgement need to be paid prior to sale of a home?

Re: Abstract of judgement/lien

Judgments do not attach to homesteads. If the closer insists on paying it, change title companies to one who understands the law.
