Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Texas

Deed from 1936

Recently my mother and I were going thru some old papers and found a deed to some property in Troy, TX. We live near there, and the property belonged to my grandmother's father. We are trying to find out if we have any right to this property or not.

Re: Deed from 1936

Go to the county courthouse and take the deed. Someone there will help you look out ownership. You may have lost it in a tax foreclosure.
