Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Texas

FInding out about death in apartment after lease was signed.

After leasing my apartment for two months, I found out that someone had died in my apartment. I could not eat, sleep, or study. I would like to break my lease, but the manager insists on me buying it off. I would like to know if there is a case. Please answer as soon as possible.

You might want to ask the landlord if you can relocate - move to a different apartment unit within the same complex. In other words, you are not wanting to break your lease, you simply want your lease to apply to a different unit within the same complex. Then, presumably, the landlord would rent your current unit to someone else.
