Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Texas

Neighbors cutting of my trees

My next door neighbors, who have a pool in their back yard, insist upon cutting the trees growing in my back yard along and sometimes on my side of the fence line in a straight up sheared fashion, thereby significantly altering the asthetics of my yard and endangering my trees due to irregular trimming. What remedies are available to either prevent or recover from this practice?

Thank you

Re: Neighbors cutting of my trees

None, if the trees are growing over the fence to your neighbor's yard. The neighbor owns the airspace over their property and they have the right to trim the part of the tree growing over their property.
