Wrong side Fence construction
I moved into my house in 2003, after hurricane Ike my insurance paid me to fix the side of the fence that was build to my side of the property. After the project was completed the next door neighbor told me thank you for building his fence. he is the original owner of his house and claim that he build that fence. they saw when the contractors started tearing it down and didn't inform me of this until after the job was completed. now afterr knowing this I tried to ask them for a refund of the money I paid for the fence so I can build the side that belongs to me, I know that they received insurance money for the fence and they said that they are not helping me at all that is done. like I said the fence is built like it belongs to my side of the property, is there anything that I can do legally to resolve this issue? thank you in advance for your assistance in this matter.

If you built the new fence, it belongs to you.
