stepmothers family sold stepsons realestate upon her death
My wifes grandfather passed on and his will states that his wife can stay in the home till she passes too,at that time my wifes father and his brother inherit home.well her family sold the home and did not notify my wife or her sister and cousin of her death.My motherinlaw found out of the sale and wants to know what she can do .We know who bought the property too.also my fatherinlaw and his brother have since passed on.Now my wife,sister and cousin are the heirs.

You're going to have to do some researching in the county real property records to see whether the transfer and sale was legal or not. Your father-in-law and his brother may have given them permission to sell.
